Control of ATP Flux in Rat Muscle Mitochondria

  • Chapter

Abstract

Most of the studies performed on the control of oxidative phosphorylation deal with the control on the oxygen consumption flux. Nevertheless, a relevant flux for the cell is that of ATP production, since it is important for the homeostasis of the phosphate potential of the cell.
