Abstract
This research is proposed to better detail the economic information that is handled and is necessary for the evaluation of a mining project, and in turn to reduce the uncertainty that exists regarding the economic results that the mining operation will obtain. In the same way, it is expected to optimize the extraction process and consequently increase the income generated in the operation, this will be evaluated with the economic measurement tool: net present value (NPV). The research will be developed through the use of mining software such as Datamine OP and NPV Scheduler, in which simulations of the various scenarios will be carried out where the cutoff grade will be the main variable to modify in order to verify the increase in the VPN in the mining operation.
