Letter to the EditorNo one will be left behind: when the prioritization of systematic reviews registry widens research inequalities between countries

The PRISMA statement requests in one of its items to enter the registration number of the systematic review protocol for the report of its resulting article [1]. Furthermore, several biomedical scientific journals that publish this type of article request such registration as a requirement for publication. Nevertheless, this can be a long and complex process and is not done equitably, which may delay response to immediate research needs.
