Cancer screening equipment will be upgraded at 78 NHS trusts over next two years

The government has announced that 78 NHS trusts in England will receive funding over the next two years to replace, refurbish, or upgrade computed tomography (CT) machines, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners, and breast screening imaging and assessment equipment.
The £200m (€232m; $258m) funding was first announced last month, to help improve the quality of cancer screening and the speed of diagnosis. The government has now revealed which trusts are in line to receive the money …
