ABSTRACT
The Peruvian glass industries' main problem is that they present constant problems in their production process, which negatively impacts their productivity. Therefore, this is due to the need for more implementation of continuous improvement methodologies in the organization. Therefore, this research sought to increase productivity by reducing waste and paralyzed orders in the production process due to poor maintenance of machinery and errors generated by the workforce. That is why it was proposed to implement an improvement model in production processes focused on solving labor and machinery problems using the Lean Six Sigma methodology through the steps of DMAIC, using tools such as TPM, BPM, and standardized work. As a result, after the implementation of the model, it was possible to increase productivity by more than 15%, reduce the percentage of waste by less than 4.5% and reduce the number of paralyzed orders in the production process by 10%.
