Closing Fragments. About practice and knowledge

The closing session of the “Practices in Research” conference of the 22nd of October 2020 was held online on the 17th of November. After a brief summary of the contributions, the underlying modalities and challenges of practice-led research were debated as they were experienced during the seminar. Eventually, the conversation concluded with reflections towards future seminars and publications. This text assembles a set of re-edited fragments of the conversation, focusing on epistemological and methodological considerations. These fragments do not necessarily form a linear argument. As happens in a dynamic conversation, the themes bounce forward and back, side tracks are explored and shortcuts are taken, contributing to a vivid debate.
