RIGHTS UP - Interviews with activists protesting mass tourism in Barcelona [Transcripts - English translations]

Description

Four in-depth interviews based on a semi-structured questionnaire are presented in these transcripts (PDF files). The collectives are: Arran, Barris per Viure, Defensem Park Güell and Las Kellys. These interviews were recorded in Barcelona and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in January 2020.  The interviews were originally made in Spanish language, and these transcripts are a non-literal translation created by the researcher/interviewer. These interviews followed the ethics guidelines for researchers and a written consent form was signed by the human participant, after discussing the objectives, scope and potential risks and harms associated to the involvement in the study. The Ethics Committee at Ca' Foscari, University of Venice approved the ethics guidelines for the "RIGHTS UP" project on July 2nd, 2018.
