[Metadata] WWW8 DOI Workshop Announcement

On 11 May 1999, the first DOI-related workshop will be held
at the Eigth International World Wide Web Conference in
Toronto, Canada. The workshop will be planned and moderated
jointly by the Corporation for National Research Initiatives
(CNRI) and the IDF.
 
The objective of this day-long session is to encourage the
participation of all attendees in identifying any remaining
barriers to the broad-based Web adoption of the DOI services
and tools; proposing activities to address these
requirements; highlighting innovative DOI implementations
which demonstrate the flexibility of the DOI infrastructure;
and discussing future directions.
 
The agenda will consist of presentations, demonstrations and
panel discussions.  Those who would like to participate
should contact Catherine Rey at crey@cnri.reston.va.us,
