Mailing Lists/Working Groups
The IDF has established a series of mailing lists for both public and private subscription. The lists are fully described in Section 7.8 of the DOI® Handbook chapter on The International DOI Foundation. These lists use a web-based interface and several of them maintain an archive of list messages. Some of the discussion lists support the activities of IDF Working Groups, which are also fully described in the DOI® Handbook, in Section 7.7.
The IDF Working Group on eBooks was active in 2000 and 2001. Its activities are being continued by other working groups in the development of Application Profiles, however, the recommendations and results of the Working Group on eBooks may be viewed on the archived DOI-eBook (DOI-EB) page (PDF).

DOI® News
News@DOI.org is a broadcast list which provides subscribers with regular (approximately once per two months) announcementsfrom the IDF covering the latest activities and developments. It is not a discussion list. Anyone who is interested may join. To be added to the list, please send a request to contact@doi.org. Including "Subscribe Me to DOI News" in the subject line is suggested.

IDF-Board
IDF-Board@DOI.org is a private list for IDF Board Members only. Contact Norman Paskin (n.paskin @doi.org) for information.

DOI-TWG
DOI-TWG@DOI.org is a discussion list for the DOI® System Technical Working Group, a subcommittee of the Registration Agencies Working Group. The DOI-TWG is run by IDF RAs but non-RA IDF members are invited to participate. The list requires approval to join.

RAWG
The Registration Agencies Working Group list is a closed discussion list for the committee on the appointment of DOI System Registration Agencies. The list requires approval to join.
