Diginatin-A New Cardioactive Glycoside from Digitalis lanata*

Abstract

A previously unreported cardioactive glycoside has been isolated from the leaves of D. lanata and found to be closely related to digoxin and gitoxin. Both the glycoside and its aglycone are relatively water soluble.
