Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) is a type of scientific experiment most commonly used in testing healthcare services or interventions. A RCT is a study in which people are allocated at random to receive one of several clinical interventions and are considered the most reliable form of evidence because they eliminate spurious causality and bias.
