Abstract

Lloyds Investment Managers Ltd (LIM) is an independent subsidiary of Lloyds Merchant Bank Ltd, itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lloyds Bank pic, which was established in 1677. LIM is one of the leading institutional fund managers in London, with almost $10 billion total assets under management, of which UK pension funds account for about $6 billion. Clients range from international companies to smaller growing concerns and charities. Lloyds has chosen not to purchase either a UK stockjobber or stockbroker, and the company is not involved in market-making.
