Parametric Sources — Design Considerations in the Generation of Low-Frequency Signals

  • Chapter
Ocean Seismo-Acoustics

Part of the book series: NATO Conference Series ((MARS,volume 16))

Abstract

The usefulness of parametric sources in the realisation of narrow acoustic beams with wide bandwidth capability has become well established. Their use in systems as well as for experimental work both at sea and in laboratory scale experiments can be illustrated by many examples.
