Abstract

The effects of the range and anisotropy of the interaction on the critical dynamics of the longitudinal relaxation shape function of the transverse Ising model are investigated. Our investigation is based on the resolution of kinetic equations for the correlation functions derived beyond the random phase approximation. We complete previous work by considering a very general interaction made of dipole-dipole, anistropic nearest-neighbour and isotropic infinite range contributions. It is shown that the overwhelming effects of range and anisotropy of the interaction are those of the dipolar part of the interaction.
