Neuroblastoma

Abstract

Neuroblastoma with spinal canal involvement represents about 5% and 15% of children affected by neuroblastic tumours.

Despite the last years, chemotherapy represents the treatment of choice at diagnosis, also in case of neurologic symptoms and signs, the surgical treatment remains a fundamental instrument for the management of Neuroblastoma with spinal canal involvement.

Surgical strategies will be discussed taking into account the pediatric neurosurgeons’ and visceral surgeons’ points of view.
