Abstract

The paper describes the basics of optimizing the method of impact on the processed material, which allows to reduce the energy intensity of processing processes and the cost of manufacturing machine building products with ensuring its specified quality and productivity. For the optimality criterion (objective function), it is advisable to choose the energy intensity of the processing process, since this indicator affects the most technical and economic indicators of power as a measure of efficiency is useful for process design in cases where there is a possibility the item will perform within various processes. For example, a part can be obtained from the workpiece by removing a certain allowance from the surfaces due to machining operations or printed in layers on a printer using additive technologies. Algorithms for calculating power when cutting with a blade tool, for various types of grinding, electrophysical, plasma, and laser types of machining of mechanical engineering parts are presented.
