Abstract
Cutaneous pathology spans the diverse variable landscape of the head and neck, including the periorbital and periocular regions, scalp, face, and neck. Ranging from solar ultraviolet radiation exposure-related neoplasms to chronic inflammatory-mediated conditions, clinical diagnosis, and management often calls for multidisciplinary care. In appreciation for the expanse of cutaneous conditions that may present in the head and neck, this chapter presents a selection of more commonly presenting cutaneous pathology in this area. Conditions described include skin cancers and premalignant cutaneous conditions, benign tumors, benign pigmented lesions and disorders, infectious conditions, autoimmune disorders, and other common dermatological conditions.
