Abstract
The fast development and adoption of new information technology (IT) such as social media, mobile, cloud, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and 3D printing is creating new human and business development opportunities. The digital revolution has already reached a significant scale and level of impact that no business, industry or government can ignore. The future of countries, businesses and individuals will depend more than ever on whether and how they embrace digital technologies. Business leaders are expecting dislocating change in their business sectors owing to the impacts of the digital revolution. They see a shift towards decentralized business structures, business operations and competition on a global scale, and more virtual working environments.
