Abstract
For the design of heat exchangers in which steam or vapor is generated, knowledge of the laws of boiling heat transfer is required. Steam generators are used in steam power plants, heat pumps, refrigerators, boilers, distilling and rectifying columns. Boiling can occur in static and flowing fluids.
