Abstract

In designing expert systems, we assume all humans have the same level of intelligence when in fact we do not. This assumption and the lack of a proper intelligence definition weakens the role of ES’s. The use of a new concept called the Intelligence Filter which has been developed by the writer is put forward in the paper as a possible solution to the problem.
