Abstract
The recent development of optical implementations of various data processing procedures created a demand for a sensitive all optical threshold device [1]. We henceforth present a possible mechanism for such a device, based on the coupling of mutually incoherent light beams by means of the fiber coupled phase conjugate mirror (FCPCM)[2,3], and on an optical phenomenon in which the phase conjugate power of these beams is determined by their relative input power.
