Abstract
Cr is not yet a hazard for the general public, but various epidemiological reviews were in the last decades definetively indicative of excessive lung cancer rates among workers exposed in the chromate-producing industry. The carcinogenic risk at several other working places with Cr VI is also suspected (Ref. 1–3).
