Abstract
These lectures are devoted to qualitative aspects of the design of linear time-invariant multivariable control systems of finite dynamic order. A “deterministic” setting is adopted, starting from a more-or-less classical point of view. On the other hand, we consider problems of structure and synthesis which have been solved only quite recently. At this level no role, as yet, is played by notions of optimality.
