Abstract
It is shown that the application of frequency transformation to a single-frequency impedance matching network simplifies the design of networks for impedance matching at any number N of frequencies. The required design procedure has been presented in formal network theoretic terms. A systematic procedure is given for generating all the equivalent networks for this purpose, from which the best one can be chosen according to a predefined criterion. Illustrative designs and some of the relevant circuits are given for some low values of N.
