A simple method for making new transducing lines of coliphage λ

  • Published:
Molecular and General Genetics MGG Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

A variety of novel transducing lines of phage λ can be obtained by induction of a mixed culture of abnormal lysogens. Such a culture is simply made by mass lysogenization of a host lacking the normal prophage attachment site.
