Robertson-Walker Lyttleton-Bondi universe with cosmological constant — A comment

Abstract

It is shown that the exterior solutions of the Robertson-Walker metric in the Lyttleton-Bondi universe with cosmological constant are, in general, those space-times which represent stiff matter fluids in general relativity theory. This shows that a result stated by Varma and Roy is incorrect.
