Abstract

Van der Waals radii of elements were determined from the data of the structural inorganic chemistry: from intersitial distances in CdX2- and graphite-type structures, bond lengths in van der Waals molecules, molar volumes of A2-type substances, refractometry data, and from quantum chemical and correlation ratios. The recommended values of van der Waals radii of elements are tabulated.
