Communication 15. Synthesis of 4-substituted 2,6-di-t-butylphenols

Summary

  1. 1.

    A method was developed for the synthesis of 4-substituted 2,6-di-t-butylphenols by the reduction of the corresponding quinols with lithium aluminum hydride.

  2. 2.

    Some new inhibitors of free-radical reactions were prepared, and some of their properties were studied.
