Conclusions

  1. 1.

The new reaction of acetals of saturated and acetylenic aldehydes with β-diearbonyl compounds was studied for the case of acetoacetic ester and its homologs.

  2. 2.

The structure of the alkoxy keto esters obtained was proved, and a mechanism with reaction via cyclic electron transfer is proposed.
