Zusammenfassung
Es werden Mehrfach-Pendel untersucht, welche Beispiele für starke quadratische Koppelung liefern. Für ein Doppelpendel erhält man die stärkste Koppelung, wenn (a) die zwei Drehpunkte auf einer Horizontalen liegen, und wenn (b) die Frequenzen im Verhältnis 1:2 stehen, wobei zwei Möglichkeiten verwirklicht werden können. Die Koppelung manifestiert sich in einem periodischen Energieaustausch; die zugehörige Frequenz ergibt sich proportional zur Amplitude.
