Adsorption on heterogeneous surfaces: Consequence of assuming the Jovanović equation for local adsorption

Summary

The consequences of assuming Jovanoviç local adsorption isotherm are discussed on the basis of integral adsorption equation for heterogeneous surfaces. Analytical solutions are presented for Dubinin-Radushkevich adsorption isotherm.

Zusammenfassung

In der Arbeit werden die Konsequenzen diskutiert, die sich aus der Annahme von Jovanović's lokalen Adsorptionsisotherrnen ergeben. Für die Diskussion werden integrale Adsorptionsgleichungen für heterogene Grenzflächen zugrunde gelegt. Für die Dubinin Radushkevich-Adsorptionsisotherme wird eine analytische Lösung gegeben.
