Moment of van der Waals forces between anisotropic bodies

Abstract

We find the moment of the van der Waals forces between two anisotropic uniaxial thick plates separated by a thick gap filled with isotropic material. Errors which occurred in [2, 3] in a discussion of this effect are pointed out.
