Abstract

The differential current density and anisotropy seen by an observer moving relative to the frame of reference in which a flux of cosmic ray particles or photons is isotropic, is derived assuming that the observer's speed is small. The results are applied to examples relevant to the theory of cosmic ray modulation and the expected anisotropies of photons originating outside our galaxy.
