Summary

An overview of the combination of chromatographic techniques with mass spectrometry is presented. It includes gas chromatography, thin-layer chromatography, supercritical fluid chromatography, capillary zone electrophoresis, and especially high-performance liquid chromatography. Present and future developments are discussed.
