Summary
An intraspinal epidermoid tumour developed six years after a lumbar puncture in a woman aged 30 years. This rare complication possibly arose from implanted cutaneous tissue.
Résumé
Nous présentons le cas d'une jeune femme de 30 ans, chez qui est apparue une tumeur épidermoïde intrarachidienne à la suite de ponctions lombaires. La myélographie réalisée six ans auparavant n'avait montré aucun signe de tumeur mais, lors de son admission, la patiente se plaignait de sciatique et d'importantes lombalgies. Il faut garder à l'esprit la possibilité de cette rare complication qu'est le développement d'une tumeur épidermoïde, conséquence de l'implantation de tissu cutané au cours de ponctions lombaires.
