Abstract
Four new species of petrified dicotyledonous woods obtained from the Oligocene of Tsuyazaki, fukuoka Prefecture have been described in a continuation of work from the previous paper;Acer palmatoxylum (Aceraceae),Cornus tsuyazakiensis (Cornaceae),Fraxinus oligocenica (Oleaceae) andHovenia palaeodulcis (Rhamnaceae). The fossil woods of those families are new records from the Palaeogene of Japan.
