Probabilistic interpretation of relativistic scattering

Summary

We present a detailed diseussion of the interpretation of a seattering process within the framework of relativistic quantum mechanics. This argument is particularly well suited to the seattering of charged scalar particles in an external electromagnetic field, but it breaks down for spin-1/2 particles. In the latter case, we can improve certain features if we use the Klein-Gordon equation instead of the Dirae equation.
