Abstract
Results are compared from attenuation measurements, carried out on two different satellite links in 1979 at the Deutsche Bundespost experimental ground station Leeheim (near Darmstadt). Considerable differences were observed between the two links. Rain intensity measurements performed at various locations in the vicinity of the receive site also show significant deviations, which in turn may be due to orographic features.

Les mesures d’affaiblissement effectuées sur deux trajets distincts satellite-Terre sont comparées. Ces mesures ont été faites en 1979 à l’aide des équipements de mesure dont dispose la station terrienne expérimentale de Leeheim (près de Darmstadt). On a observé des différences considérables entre les deux liaisons. Des mesures d’intensités de précipitations effectuées en différents endroits au voisinage du lieu de réception montrent également des différences sensibles qui pourraient être dues aux caractéristiques orographiques.
