Internationale oriëntatie als verplicht thema in het curriculum

Het Bologna Akkoord en de consequenties daarvan voor de Masteropleiding Advanced Nursing Practice van de Hogeschool Rotterdam

Samenvatting

In 1999 tekenden de ministers van onderwijs van 29 Europese landen het Bologna Akkoord met als doel om de economie in Europa een concurrentiepositie te geven in de wereld. Kennis wordt hierbij als een essentiële factor gezien. Het doel was om in 2010 een nieuw academisch systeem in alle Europese landen te realiseren. Dit systeem beoogt dat diploma's internationaal vergelijkbaar zijn, waardoor de mobiliteit tussen studenten en afgestudeerden binnen Europa wordt bevorderd. In dit artikel wordt het belang van internationale oriëntatie in het verpleegkundig onderwijs uiteengezet en de praktische toepassing daarvan bij de Hogeschool Rotterdam.
