Abstract
In this paper Cultural Algorithms are used to generate networks of sites within a historical database of sites for the Valley of Oaxaca. These networks are described in terms of multiple criteria spanning trees computed by Cultural Algorithms with an evolutionary programming shell. The results are used to explain changes in site location decision-making over time in the valley.
