Samenvatting

In de suïcidologie wordt de nadruk gelegd op epidemiologie, risicofactoren, preventie en interventie. Minder aandacht krijgt de nazorg en de nabestaanden. Daarbij komt de hulpverlener die een cliënt door suïcide verliest vaak op de laatste plaats. Deze zorg is dus nog een taboe in de (geestelijke) gezondheidszorg.
