Zusammenfassung

Die Entwicklung der Sturzprävention ist ein Paradebeispiel für erfolgreiche geriatrische Forschung in Deutschland. Die Arbeiten sind nicht zuletzt auch gesellschaftlich anerkannt. Die Forschungsförderung ist gut. Dieser Erfolg wurde durch viele Arbeitsgruppen in Deutschland ermöglicht und ist auch international sichtbar. In den nächsten 10 Jahren geht es darum, die evidenzbasierten Ansätze zu implementieren und dies zu evaluieren. Durch digitale Ansätze wird sich diese Entwicklung beschleunigen.
