2019, Thin-Walled StructuresCitation Excerpt :Later, Carr [90] presented an approximate method for finding natural frequencies for torsional vibration problem investigated by Gere for various boundary conditions. Coupled bending and torsional vibrations of uniform beams with single cross sectional symmetry were given by several researchers like Mei [91], Dokumaci [92] and Friberg [93]. Rajasekaran [94], Murray and Rajasekaran [95] presented a technique for the formulation of the equations for thin-walled beams.
