Abstract

Extraction of the stems and leaves of Piper ridleyi with ether afforded N-isobutyl-15-(3′,4′-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2E,4E,12E-pentadecatrienamide (ridleyamide), as well as the known amide, retrofractamide, and sterols.
