2004, European Journal of PharmacologyCharacterisation of central adenosine A<inf>1</inf> receptors and adenosine transporters in mice lacking the adenosine A(2a) receptor
2000, Brain ResearchCitation Excerpt :Bovine serum albumin (25–400 μg/tube) was used to formulate a standard curve for the protein assay. The adenosine transporter and A1R binding assays used were adaptations of previously described protocols [8,19]. In brief, an aliquot (100 μl) of membrane homogenate was added to Tris–HCl buffer (50 mM, pH 7.4), and incubated for 30 min at room temperature with [3H]NBTI (0.01–3.0 nM), or 90 min at room temperature with [3H]DPCPX (0.03–5 nM); with a final assay volume of 0.5 ml and 1.0 ml, respectively.
