2022, Games and Economic BehaviorCitation Excerpt :Following the seminal work by Kamenica and Gentzkow (2011), there is abundant research on information design. Gershkov and Szentes (2009), Kremer et al. (2014), Che and Hörner (2017), and Doval and Ely (2020) have studied the design of recommendation systems that enhance social learning. Most previous studies have analyzed incentives in information acquisition for the common state; to our knowledge, Thomas (2021) is the only exception.
