Photoluminescence of the hopping disordered systems with electrical bias

An exact time dependent expression of the photoluminiscence is obtained for a one-dimensional hopping system with randomly distributed deep traps, in a d.c. external electric field. Analytical formulae,for large and small time, in terms of field, trap concentration and hopping transition rates are given. Numerical calculations are performed for different values of the bias and trap concentration.
