Organometallic Complexes of Polyazines
2019, Advances in Heterocyclic ChemistryCitation Excerpt :PrMes2(LL)2] and [Pt2Me8(μ-SMe2)2] give [Me2Pt(μ-LL)PtMes2]. The same route exists for [PtR2(LL)] (R = Me, CF3, Ph, adamantylmethyl, R2 = (CH2)4) and [R2Pt(μ-LL)PtR′2] (R = R′ = Me, Ph, adamantylmethyl; R = Me, R′ = Ph, adamantylmethyl, CF3) (84POL87). [ PtMe2(2,2′-bipyrimidine)], dimer [Me2Pt(μ-2,2′-bipyrimidine)PtMe2], and step-by-step oxidative addition of methyl iodide to these species have been studied computationally (97CRV1735, 09CC2373, 15POL(100)67). Organometallic palladium and platinum complexes with strongly donating alkyl coligands - Synthesis, structures, chemical and cytotoxic properties
2010, Journal of Organometallic ChemistryCitation Excerpt :Organo-platinum(II) and -palladium(II) complexes [(COD)M(R)(L)] (M = Pt or Pd; R = alkyl, alkynyl or aryl; L = other ligands) with COD (1,5-cyclooctadiene) as an easily exchangeable ligand have been known for decades and are used as precursors for mono and polynuclear organometallic platinum(II) [1–5] or palladium(II) [6–8] compounds with applications in the field of catalysis [9–11] or chemical vapour deposition (CVD) of platinum [12].
