Editorial overview: Tumour immunology: New frontiers in cancer immunotherapy

Phillip K Darcy is an Associate Professor and National Health and Medical Research Fellow at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He heads the Cancer Immunotherapy laboratory and is focused on the development of adoptive cellular approaches utilizing gene-modified T cells and testing novel combination therapies for enhancing adaptive and innate immunity against cancer.

David S Ritchie is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and Head of the Bone Marrow Transplant Service of Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is Co-head of the Immunology Translational Research Laboratory at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Director of the Translational Haematology Laboratory at Royal Melbourne Hospital. His research is focused on biomarkers of anti-cancer immune responses and the immunology of allogeneic transplantation.
