Iterative data collection is a key characteristic of the Delphi methodology, which could encourage participants to change their responses based on group feedback.2 Response changes between rounds may also help participants develop consensus.13 In this article, we describe the extent and nature of changes in participants’ responses in OMD panels as a result of exposure to group feedback and discussion, thereby directly addressing recent calls for more methodological research on the Delphi method14,15 by identifying predictors of response changes.
